Join Us for the NMLC Community Reading Fair! 

The Ni'jah Monifa Literacy Center invites families, students, educators, and community members to a fun-filled day celebrating the joy and power of reading at the NMLC Community Reading Fair on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Northwest Community Center, 18100 Meyers Road in Detroit.

Enjoy an exciting afternoon of storytelling, Readers’ Theater, reading games, bookmark designing, parent literacy resources, book giveaways, voter registration, and much more! This family-friendly event is designed to inspire young readers, strengthen literacy skills, and connect families with valuable educational resources in a welcoming community environment.
